FAQ

Webinar Supplier data request on sustainability

  • Can data be provided in another format than Excel?

For now, yes. We do not expect every supplier to use the Excel format, as long as the data is clear, without room for interpretation and in the same structure as asked for by JDN.

  • We do not provide any of your key resources, what do we need to fill in?

If you do not provide raw materials, just do a check of the products you deliver to the JDNGroup and look at what key resource is most common. For example, if you deliver heavy equipment, your most common key resource will be steel. If you are a subcontractor in civil build, your key resources will be cement, cementitious mixture and steel.

  • We don’t have emission data yet; do we need to send back the list?

Yes please, for now, we can do our own estimated calculations with the mass of the products you provided. Also, percentages on reused, circular and biological components are helpful.

  • We do not know the exact percentage of the key resource in our product, what do we do?

For the moment, we can work with substantiated estimations, so it is better to deliver estimated data than no data at all. In the future an EPD, or equivalent, will be required to verify this information.

  • What is meant by certificates on product level and on company level?

A certificate on product level refers to the methodology used to produce the product. A certificate on company level refers to the governance and policies your company uses to make sure you are part of a no-harm economy.
