The Oosterweel link

In Antwerp, Belgium, we are constructing a 1.8-km tunnel with three lanes in each direction between the left and right bank of the Scheldt river. We are also covering the Merksem viaduct, making Oosterweel Belgium’s largest construction site.

New detention centre in Antwerp

We will design, build, finance and maintain a new prison in Antwerp. The detention centre will house 440 prisoners from mid-2026, keeping life in prison as close as possible to life in the outside world.

Solid foundations

We offer innovative foundation, retaining wall and soil improvement techniques to create solid foundations for complex buildings and infrastructure works. Groundworks, piling, dewatering, injections and geothermal energy: clients can expect us to deliver the total package.

Heaviest Belgian quay wall ever

To receive the ever larger seagoing vessels, we built an 813-metre combi-wall in the port of Antwerp. It contains 305 sheet piles and steel casings, each with a diameter of 2 metres, a length of 29 metres and a weight of 30 tonnes.
