Deepening harbour Quequén
In 2018, Jan De Nul made the harbours of Quequén and Bahia Blanca accessible for larger vessels. We deepened the harbour of Quequén to at least fifteen metres and maintained the harbour at Bahia Blanca.
These projects confirm our position in Argentina, an important market for us. Since 2015, we carried out six maintenance campaigns. This project is part of the renewal of an earlier contract. For this project, we deployed one of our powerful cutter suction dredgers Ibn Battuta and trailing hopper suction dredger Afonso de Albuquerque.
