From blocked property in receivership to buildable residential zone
The factory and buildings were left abandoned and in early 2003, the parent company Sofitex went bankrupt. In 2007, we bought the site from the receivership, including all remediation obligations. As such, we offered a comprehensive solution for this complex file that had been blocked for many years. The existing soil remediation plan was adapted as it was outdated and the described techniques were inadequate. The remediation was fully geared to the future destination and the plans to develop the site as a residential area. Subsequently, the project site was sold as serviced land for residential redevelopment.
