Willebroek Rupeltunnel

The newly developed Rupeltunnel business park has an excellent location alongside the A12 highway and close to the A12-N16 intersection. In the past, the site had been raised with gypsum from the former Prayon-Rupel operations. This blocked the revalorisation and redevelopment of this site in the strategic region Willebroek-North.  In consultation with OVAM, we excavated 5,700 tonnes of gypsum-containing soil and transported it to two recognised landfills. The construction works as well as the commercialisation were entirely executed by ourselves. The project was completed in 2008 and all 20 SME units have been sold.
