Gold EcoVadis medal for our sustainability achievements
Sustainability occupies an increasingly important place in everything we do within Jan De Nul. In our projects, we always go the extra mile to leave a positive impact on our environment, and on our (permanent) sites, too, we go all out for sustainable choices. EcoVadis also recognised these efforts. This year, they awarded us a gold medal for our initiatives.
EcoVadis is an internationally recognised organisation that awards independent sustainability ratings to companies. For those ratings, they evaluate organisations in four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. In 2021, EcoVadis awarded us a bronze medal, in 2022 a silver one, and now we received a gold medal for our efforts.
An EcoVadis medal is an indicator of a company's sustainability management. The gold medal we received for 2023 recognises that we continue to make strong efforts within Jan De Nul to improve our sustainability policy.
