So it was not really a surprise for us – on the contrary it made us rather proud – that our daughter company PT. Idros Services, as early adopters in Batam, Indonesia, recently organised an ITA family day.
Through, among others, a quiz and a panel discussion, they tried to measure the ITA-commitment of their employees and the importance attached by them to operational control. In a playful way, the knowledge of high-risk processes and HSE-rules during the execution of daily tasks was tested. The great outcome of it all was that all employees were even more committed to creating a better working environment.
Completely in line with these good intentions and the ITA principle Stop & Rethink, PT. Idros Services also introduced Hazard Observation (HAZOB) Cards. From now on, everyone counts on each other to look for unacceptable risks and to search for solutions as a team.
