There is a climate hero in us

With the use of sustainable biofuel for our vessels, the electrification of our fleet, the use of ecological site offices and innovative projects such as the Nul-O-Plastic, our company contributes to a more sustainable climate. For these special efforts, the city of Aalst, where our Belgian office is based, recognised us as one of the local climate heroes. Besides Jan De Nul, the city selected three other climate heroes: ‘t Gepeld Ajuintje, Ohne and River Cleanup Dender.

Being nominated as a climate hero is a new recognition of our sustainable approach, following the recognition of Voka as 'SDG Pioneer'. Sustainability is central to our business strategy. Our CSR strategy focuses on the three pillars ‘People, Planet & Profit’ and with our awareness programme Code Zero we make those ambitions for the future clear: "Zero emissions, zero accidents, zero breaches & zero waste! We go for zero! For a better future!
